Motion Pictures Trek Comic

1 min read

The current run of Motion Pictures comics, created by Josh Edelglass, features Star Trek into Darkness.

Motion Pictures comic is the story of a boy and his robot, who “mysteriously gain the power to jump in and out of movies.”

In this Star Trek into Darkness version of Motion Pictures, the boy takes the place of Captain Kirk. See him point out the flaws of the movie, and enjoy the references to other famous movies.

  1. For what it’s worth, I kind of felt like having my face melted off, Belloq-style, when I watched STD…

  2. I have. I watched their first episode to see how it was. The production values are decent; the script was OK; the acting, putting it kindly, is uneven. There is a distinctly different approach than New Voyages/Phase II. It took a bit to put my finger on it; my best description of it is this:

James Cawley is playing Captain James T. Kirk.
Vic Mignona is playing William Shatner playing Captain James T. Kirk.

    Take that as you will.
