Titan Trek Busts

1 min read

Three new Star Trek character busts were unveiled by Titan Merchandise at the San Diego Comic-Con.

The busts included Khan, Scotty, and Sulu.

The Khan bust, to be released this month, features the genetically-enhanced superman from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

Scotty is shown holding both a dilithium crystal, and a tool, while Sulu is shown with a fencing foil in a scene from the original series’ The Naked Time episode.

These three busts will join ones already offered by Titan, including: Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Picard, Data, and Worf.

  1. Looks more like Ciaran Hinds than James Doohan, I think. But the Khan one looks pretty sweet.

  2. Now, while I definitely appreciate the sentiment and effort here – the way it tapers down to the pedastal makes the figures look like a birth abnormality or victim of some accident. Sulu almost looks like a MerMan. Sorry, but that’s just a bit off putting to me.

  3. Yeah, that was weird for me, too… A bust traditionally doesn’t include from the waist down for a reason… it looks odd.

  4. “I never forget a face…” except my own when I become a pasty British guy…

Such a travesty… and to think, they’re talking about doing another “Khan” movie at this point. Mindboggling.

  5. *cough cough* “Merman. Mer-MAN!”

    Agreed, that is really disturbing.

  6. So true Mike. No originality, just make-overs, re-dos and “re-imagined” tripe.
