Abrams To Develop Serling Story

1 min read

A story written by Rod Serling shortly before his death will be developed by Star Trek‘s J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot.

The story, The Stops Along the Way, was written in 1975.

There are few details on the project yet and it is uncertain whether this will be a made-for-television movie, a mini-series or a full series. TrekToday will update the story as more details become available.

  1. A property like this belongs in the subtle, nuanced hands of say, Joss Whedon. Not the guy who gave Captain Kirk a swollen tongue and Mickey Mouse-hands or had Scotty shooting through the “Wonka tube” in engineering.

  2. That little crab person that follows Scotty around? It’s an irradiated Oompa Loompa.

  3. Would you rather have Vic Mignogna get his hands on it and pervert the hell out of it?

    I certainly wouldn’t.
