Star Trek‘s George Takei will be hosting The One Show awards presentation.

The One Show celebrates the year’s best in advertising.

This year’s awards presentation will take place at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday, May 8th, 2013.

“George is very active in all he does, whether it be his TV and movie career, activism or social media,” said Mary Warlick, CEO of The One Club. “He has a dedicated following that continues to grow. We’re very excited that he is a part of this year’s One Show.”
