Cumberbatch To Join Monty Python Project?

Star Trek Into DarknessBenedict Cumberbatch is in talks to join a Monty Python comedy project.

The project, Absolutely Anything, will be directed by Terry Jones and feature voiceovers from Monty Python alumni as well as from Robin Williams.

In Absolutely Anything, “a teacher…discovers he has magical powers and can make things happen with the wave of his hand. He can wipe out classrooms of badly behaving students and bring people back to life. But he experiences mishap after mishap as he tries to learn how to use these powers.”

Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans, Byzantium) has already joined the project, which is expected to begin filming in the first quarter of 2013.
