Stewart To Carry Olympic Torch

Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Sir Patrick Stewart will be carrying the Olympic torch on Monday.

Stewart will carry the torch into St. Andrew’s School in Croydon around 12:50 on Monday, July 23.

“The students were already excited at the prospect of hosting the Olympic flame and now they are even more thrilled that such an illustrious celebrity will be bringing it to their school,” said David Matthews, the head teacher at St. Andrew’s.

The torch will make its way through South Norwood, Thorton Heath, West Croydon, the town center and then to St. Andrew’s.
