New Abrams Project And Fringe

1 min read

The ever-busy J.J. Abrams has another project lined up, this time a science-fiction movie, Collider.

There is little information about Collider at this time, but the Paramount Pictures movie will be directed by Edgar Wright, written by Wright and Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend), and produced by Wright, Nira Park and Abrams.

In other Abrams news, Digital Spy is reported that Abrams has thanking the Fox network for giving Fringe a final fifth season.

“Fox has been unbelievable,” said Abrams. “It’s a very great thing in this day and age that a network would support a show that isn’t a massive hit.

Fringe has always been, true to its name, more [of] an ‘outside-the-box’ series. The good thing about that for us is we can have these parties, these mixers, with every single viewer.”

The final season of Fringe will debut this fall.
