New Trek 2 Photos

1 min read

New photos featuring the actors from Star Trek 2 have appeared online.

The photos, featuring child actress Anjini Azhar, were taken with the regular cast of Star Trek 2 as well as with some of the guest stars for the movie.

Azhar will be playing the daughter of Noel Clarke and Nanzeen Contractor‘s characters.

The photos originally appeared on IMDB, but were subsequently taken down from the site. However various Star Trek fan sites were able to save them before they were removed, and they are still available when doing an image search on Google.

Azhar is seen with Simon Pegg and Anton Yelchin (both in uniform), Noel Clarke, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pine, John Cho, J.J. Abrams and Nanzeen Contractor.

  1. They’re saying over at trekweb that the uniforms being worn by Scotty and Chekov are the new uniforms.

I really hope its only something like formal wear or something because they don’t look startrek at all.

I have absolutely no problem with the uniforms from the first movie…

  2. The Scotty/Chekhov uniforms look very SW:A New Hope, thereby completing the Star Wars-ification of JJ Trek. I feel like Stuart Baird had a better grasp of ST than Bad Robot does.

  3. More precisely they look an awful lot like Imperial Navy uniforms sans insignia. With those awful fag-topper caps that even American police refuse to wear. I do believe I shall vomit.

  4. Ah. Guest is playing a retarded monkey.

Oh. My apologies. Guest is not playing.

  5. It looks like no formal uniform ever used in any Trek incarnation. It makes the Trek II-V red jacket and sweater combo look downright gaudy. It is the most boring, bland, gawdawful ugly uniform I have ever seen in Trek. I suppose the regular duty uniforms will be OD digicam now?

  6. I *HATE* the new uniforms… They look very military – StarFleet is about exploration and science… Also, I think the hats look a bit – over the top ugly….

  7. My first thought was “hey, they’re referencing those classic Trek Nazi episodes!” I bet they’ll work on screen, in whatever context they’re presented.

  8. The uniforms look like Nazi uniforms I hope that they don’t represent star fleet
