  1. Seventhbeacon, let me guess. You’re exactly like one of the geeks on the show. LOL

  2. I like Leonard Nimoy, of course, don’t get me wrong… but, if you’re going to announce that you’re retiring from something, do it. Don’t do this little “un-retiring every 3 months” dance. It cheapens the emotions of people that had already come to terms with the retirement.

  3. dude…. srsly? be glad he’s alive, be glad he’s still working — when he wants to; he’s earned it. besides, why be that emotionally invested in someone else’s retirement/life?

  4. I have to agree. I love ya, Len, but if you’re going to retire, retire. If you want to “un-retire”, like Ozzy did, then un-retire and just announce you’re not working full time anymore and you’ll do or not do whatever the f&^k you want. You’ve earned the right.

  5. Nope, I just don’t find regurgitated 20 year old jokes and prat falls mixed with insulting canned laughter to be amusing. This comedy is way past its expiration date.

  6. Oh no, I love things that are actually funny. Example of my tastes: Arrested Development, The Office, Modern Family, Frasier (my last fave of the old style comedies), My Name Is Earl….

Canned laughter is a sign of shoddy one-liners and fear of jokes being able to stand on their own.

  7. Btw, proud geek here, more than willing to laugh at myself and do so frequently. I would love an actually funny geek show, but this one is out of touch and simply poorly written.

  8. Exactly! Personally, I’d be happy for him to continue doing things for years to come… all the way to the end… but, not by mockingly entering and exiting “retirement” all the time. Do what you want, but don’t feel the need to generate stories about your retirement when it’s apparent you’re as retired as Cher ever will be.

  9. Heh, yeah, a good number of my friends enjoy it too. This conversation went basically about the same as those ones do, lol!

  10. Gee…everyone likes the show including your friends and you don’t!?! What’s wrong with that picture Sevenbeacon?
