Two New Trek Collectibles

1 min read

An Enterprise plush toy and a door chime are the two latest Star Trek collectibles to hit the market.

The two officially licensed products come courtesy of ThinkGeek. “It’s a true honor for us to add to the line of great Star Trek products we’ve already created,” said Ty Liotta, head of ThinkGeek’s GeekLabs custom products development group. “We know fans will appreciate and adore these products as much as we do.”

The Star Trek Plush Enterprise “features detailed embroidery and realistic photon torpedo sounds.” The foot-long plushie has red LEDs on the nacelles that light up. It will retail for $24.99.

The Star Trek Plush Enterprise will be available February 4th from ThinkGeek.

Ever wish to hear the swoosh noise, heard on the original series when a crewmember walked through a door, when walking through your own door? Now, the motion-activated Star Trek Door Chime will give fans that experience.

The Star Trek Door Chime, which will sell for $29.99, looks like a communication panel found in the corridors of the original series USS Enterprise. The Star Trek Door Chime lights up and makes “signature Star Trek” sounds, including the classic door whoosh, the red alert klaxon and the boatswain whistle. The Star Trek Door Chime requires six AA batteries.

The Star Trek Door Chime is also available from ThinkGeek and can be ordered here.
