New Trek-Themed Merchandise

1 min read

Fans of the original series Gorn of Arena will be pleased to hear about the latest merchandise which features the green-skinned reptile.

The Gorn, sculpted by Jim Maddox, with paint masters by Jeff Camp, is a thirteen-inch tall statue sculpted in 1:6 scale.

The Hollywood Collectibles Group exclusive version also comes with a “Gorn cannon.” Fans of Arena may remember that Kirk used a bamboo-like plant to create the cannon, loading it with diamonds, which were in abundance on the planet Cestus III.

The Gorn is limited to only one hundred individually numbered pieces. The Gorn statue is available for pre-order here and will sell for $159.95. The Gorn is expected to ship towards the end of the year.

For those looking for something unique and in a less expensive price range, a new Trek figurine collection is being offered by the Bradford Exchange Online. This new line features the M&M’s brand character dressed as Star Trek characters.

Selling at $29.99 each (plus $7.99 shipping), the M&M/Trek figurine will debut with “Spokescandy Red” Kirk. Other figurines to follow will be “Live Long and Prosper,” “Bad News Gentlemen, I Melt For No One,” and others to follow.

The figurines are hand-numbered with matching certificates of authenticity and can be ordered here.
