CBS Orders Person of Interest Pilot

1 min read

Person of Interest, a CIA drama to be executive produced by J.J. Abrams, has received the go-ahead for a pilot episode.

Created by Jonathan Nolan (Memento, The Dark Knight) and Abrams, the series is a “crime drama centered around an ex-CIA hitman and a scientist who team up to prevent crimes before they happen.”

The CIA agent, supposedly dead, is recruited by a “reclusive billionaire” to “wage war” against New York City criminals.

This is the second pilot order for Abrams recently. Several months ago, FOX ordered a pilot for Alcatraz.
