1 min readSeveral official photos have been released of Zoë Saldana in Colombiana, as professional assassin Cataleya Restrepo.
Saldana will be appearing along with Michael Vartan, Jordi Molla, Lennie James and Sam Douglas in Colombiana.
In Colombiana, set in Latin America, Restrepo (Saldana) witnesses the murder of her parents in Bogota, Columbia. She grows up and becomes an assassin, working for her uncle Emilio by day as a hitman. On her own time, she engages in vigilante murders that she hopes will eventually lead her to drug lord Don Luis, who was responsible for the death of her parents.
Directed by Olivier Megaton and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, Colombiana will open on September 2, 2011.
