Nimoy Recovering

1 min read

Leonard Nimoy, Star Trek‘s Mr. Spock, is recovering after minor surgery performed yesterday.

The seventy-nine-year old actor had “minor benign abdominal surgery,” according to his representative.

Although he is said to be “recovering beautifully”, the surgery caused Nimoy to miss an appearance at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art yesterday. His scheduled appearance at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California for tomorrow evening has also been postponed.

Nimoy’s wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, has extended her thanks to everyone who expressed get-well wishes to her husband.

Best wishes to Mr. Nimoy for a speedy recovery.
