Recently, TrekToday reported on a unique merchandise item, an Enterprise pizza cutter. Today, another Enterprise-based item can be purchased which will complement the pizza cutter, an Enterprise bottle opener, perfect for cracking open a bottle of Romulan ale to go with a slice of pizza.
The officially licensed Star Trek Bottle Opener is modeled on the NCC-1701. Four and 3/4 inches long, the bottle opener weighs five and a half ounces. The Enterprise bottle opener has a shiny chrome finish, with “U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701” printed on the hull.
The bottle opener sells for $19.99 and can be purchased here. In a pinch, the heavy bottle opener can be used as a weapon “if diplomatic relations fail you,” but purchasers are encouraged not to use them against Klingons. “They’re more likely to laugh at you. Thick skulls, don’t you see.”
