Star Trek XI Nominated for Another Award

Star Trek XI has been nominated for yet another guild award, this one from the Costume Designers Guild.

The Costume Designers Guild, founded in 1953 by a group of thirty motion picture costume designers, has released its list of nominees for the 12th Annual CDG Awards.

Star Trek XI‘s Michael Kaplan was nominated for Excellence in Fantasy Film. The other two nominations for this award are: Monique Prudhomme for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and Mayes C. Rubeo and Deborah Lynn Scott for Avatar.

This is Kaplan’s third nomination from the guild. Previously, he was nominated in 2005, for Mr. & Mrs. Smith and in 1999 for Fight Club.

The Costume Designers Guild Event will be held on Thursday, Friday 25, 2010 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
