Doug Wilson and 'TrekAmazon' both wrote in with reports about the Slanted Fedora that took place at the Adams Mark Hotel in Philadelphia this weekend. The guests in attendance were René Auberjonois (Odo) and Armin Shimerman (Quark) from DS9, and the so-called 'Fab Four of Voyager', Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), Robert Picardo (the Holodoc), Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) and Ethan Phillips (Neelix).

At the con, the Voyager actors revealed several news tidbits for the upcoming Voyager season. Here's a summary:

  • Roxann Dawson confirmed that her character and Tom Paris will indeed be getting married. In addition, she revealed that Torres will also be getting pregnant! Dawson did this by pointing at her wedding ring and then miming a pregnant belly, while saying: "I didn't say anything!"

  • And in Dawson's own life, she recently also had an addition to her family, as she just returned from China this past week, where she adopted a baby daughter. Nine-month old Mia is now adjusting to life in the States. Apparently, Dawson was so excited to announce it that she was trembling as she spoke of it.

  • And as expected, Dawson presented the collector's edition of 'Entering Tenebraea', her new novel, at the con.

  • When asked if Reginald Barclay would return, the Voyager stars said that they were not aware of any plans yet, but would not be surprised if he did return. Kenneth Biller did already confirm his return recently, though.

  • All four guests at the con confirmed Voyager will return home before the series ends. Picardo, McNeill and Dawson speculated that the ship will return at the end of the season (in the last 5-10 episodes), while Phillips was leaning more towards mid-season. They did not have any official info on this either, though, but the general feeling was apparently that TPTB would prefer a big finish over a mid-season return.

  • The Doctor will apparently have a name by the end of the series.

  • According to Dawson again, 'Unimatrix Zero, Part Two' will be "exciting! You have to watch!"

  • Robert Picardo does not resent Seven of Nine's huge screen time. The other three didn't comment on this issue.

  • And finally, revealing what he will be doing after the series has ended, Picardo mentioned that he plans to be Dawson's Nanny :-).
Major thanks go out to Doug Wilson and TrekAmazon for this!
