Long Island Convention News

Roy Gales just sent in a short report about the recent Creation convention on Long Island, which took place last weekend. At the convention, Richard Arnold (Gene Roddenberry's former assistant) apparently mentioned that Viacom would probably be pushing for Series V to be on CBS when the merger goes through.

Also at the convention, Grace Lee Whitney (Janice Rand) mentioned she was hoping she would have a part in the Excelsior series, featuring Captain Sulu, if it ever becomes reality. She likes to call it the new George & Gracie show. As you may recall, in 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country' and 'Flashback' Rand held a position aboard the U.S.S. Excelsior.

Finally, Section 31 posted the following short episode of description of 'Muse', which was revealed to attendants of the con:

B'Elanna gets stranded on a primitive alien planet, where she becomes the inspiration for a playwright.

'Muse' will air sometime in the second half of April.
