Robert Hewitt Wolfe, Andromeda's Executive Producer, just sent in a note announcing they've filled out the writing staff on the show by hiring Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz as staff writers. Here's what Wolfe had to say about the writing duo:

They wrote an excellent freelance episode for us (D Minus Zero) and we're glad to add them to the staff.

In addition, Wolfe mentioned principal casting for the series is nearly complete, with only one major role still uncast. Expect an official announcement from Tribune and Fireworks soon.

'Andromeda', based on the work of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and starring Kevin Sorbo(from 'Hercules') will start shooting in May, and is scheduled for a Fall 2000 premiere.
