'Stigma' photo - courtesy UPN, copyright Paramount PicturesUPN Wednesday night released the trailer for next week's new Enterprise episode, 'Stigma'.

Written by executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, 'Stigma' is Enterprise's contribution to Viacom's AIDS awareness campaign. The episode reveals T'Pol has contracted a disease which could see her ostracised from Vulcan society.

The 24-second promo is available to download online courtesy of All About Star Trek. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

WEDNESDAY ON AN ALL-NEW 'ENTERPRISE'

[Text: 'Wednesday']
[Enterprise orbits a planet.]

T'POL CARRIES A SECRET SHE CANNOT REVEAL

[T'Pol walks cautiously down a dark alleyway.]
[Phlox rises from examining something under a microscope.]
[T'Pol stands resolute in sickbay.]
T'Pol: "It's too great a risk."
[Two Vulcan doctors sit side by side.]
Dr. Oratt: "You're jeopardising your reputation, your career."
[In sickbay, T'Pol looks away.]

THE VULCANS WILL DO ANYTHING TO DISCOVER IT

[Two Vulcans open a large pair of double doors.]
[T'Pol watches as a group of Vulcan doctors files out of the room.]
[Dr. Oratt talks to Archer.]
Dr. Oratt: "High Command will decide whether she is fit for duty."
[T'Pol and Archer stand before a Vulcan sitting imperiously on a throne.]
[Archer and T'Pol stand together.]
