Over at the Sci-Fi Wire, they've put up a short interview with Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), talking about the tenth Star Trek film. Stewart told the site the story is currently being developed, and Jean-Luc Picard is in it. However, according to Stewart the film is still in a very early stage of development: "A director has not been selected. ... We're really at the very earliest stages of creating a possible story for this film, and perhaps in a couple of months ... I will have more to say."

In the full report, Stewart also denied one of the Trek X screenwriter rumours that has been going on for a few months now, saying that as far as he was aware 'Buffy' creator Joss Whedon had not been asked to write a draft.

The Sci-Fi Wire also has a second interview with Stewart, in which he talks about the upcoming 'X-Men' film. Stewart, who stars in the film as Professor X, still hasn't seen the finished film, due to some fine-tuning still going on.
