'Tenebreah's Hope Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) and Daniel Graham recently released the cover of the second book in their Tenebrea Trilogy, scheduled to debut at a Star Trek convention this August.

The new book will be entitled 'Tenebrea's Hope' and will continue the story started in last year's 'Entering Tenebrea.' Like the original, 'Tenebrea's Hope' will debut in a limited collector's edition of only 750 copies at conventions, with proceeds going to charities for orphans and AIDS victims. The novel will go on sale at the Slanted Fedora Convention in Washington DC, from August 3 - 5 2001. Dawson and Graham will be present to sign copies of the book.

'Entering Tenebrea 'Entering Tenebrea' told the story of Andrea Flores, who left Earth to avenge the brutal murder of her family. She arrived at the planet Jod, where Admiral Hal K'Rin took her under his wings. Andrea entered a special operations unit, the Tenebrea, and soon found herself in the middle of a war involving a displaced race of humans who manufactured clones.

In 'Tenebrea's Hope,' Andrea continues her quest for answers about her family, but discovers that her fate is now entwined with the fate of the clones on the planet Cor. She enters into a passionate relationship with resistance leader Brigon, while her benefactor from the previous novel, Hal K'Rin, falls prey to the political intrigues of the Jod Council.

The trilogy will be closed with 'Tenebrea Rising,' a release date for which has not been set. Since this February, the first book has been available for order as a Pocket Books paperback, it is expected that the other books in the series will follow this pattern.

The Tenebrea Trilogy mark Roxann Dawson's debut as a novelist. She wrote the books together with Daniel Graham, a former US Army officer and now a management and writing consultant to engineering and scientific organisations. The covers for the books were designed by Dan Curry, who worked on Star Trek: Voyager as visual effects producer and supervisor.

More information on the Tenebrea Trilogy can be found here on Daniel Graham's web site. Thanks go out to AntonyF at Babylon 5: Legend of the Rangers site B5LR.com for contributing to this article.
