Fans in the United Kingdom will have to wait a while to see 'Endgame' the episode that ended Voyager's seven year trek through the delta quadrant. In order to preview of the episode and to commemorate the series, TV Zone has a special Voyager tribute edition on sale now.

"Janeway has grown, I feel, as any captain would, in accordance with the situation," Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) told the magazine. "She's a veteran Space traveller now. Not only that, but she's also a seasoned captain and, in many ways, a fearless one, too, which I don't think she was in the beginning. Janeway has overcome her intrinsic fears about the Prime Directive and being lost in Space."

"Best of all, she has managed to get over the guilt she's had regarding her original decision which landed them in the Delta Quadrant," the actress continued. "She surpassed all that and has become a rather intrepid leader, as is demonstrated in the episode Friendship One, when the Starfleet admiral on Earth with whom she’s talking says, 'There's nothing more I can tell you now, Kathryn. You know it all.'"

Robert Picardo (The Holodoc) reflected on his long tenure in sickbay. "Becoming part of the Star Trek franchise is unlike any other acting job. You're not just playing another character on a TV show, you're joining a pop culture legend and one with a loyal fan base that's eager to get to know you. For a segment of the public, The Doctor is going to be the signature role of my career. Twenty years from now, some tv channel somewhere will be re-running Voyager and reminding us all of this experience."

But what has the actor gained personally from the experience? "I've enjoyed myself immensely. This show has given me the chance to make some wonderful friends and learn a lot of pointless technobabble," he laughed. "The best part of all, though, is that in seven years no one has pointed out that I'm the only hologram who’s gotten a little bit chunkier and a little bit jollier. I'm quite delighted about that!"

The magazine includes all-new interviews with Tim Russ, Robert Beltran, Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill, as well as retrospectives on various classic Voyager episodes. There is a light-hearted Voyager A-Z and several exclusive pictures from the finale 'Endgame.' The special edition also looks ahead to the next Star Trek series, 'Enterprise' speculating on what the future might hold for the franchise.

The special is on sale for £4.99 in the UK, $7.99 in the US and $9.95 in Canada. You can find more from the magazine here at the TV Zone web site, where you can also place an online order.
