  • OneDemocracy.com, a new web site facilitating civic activism and issue advocacy, just sent out a press release announcing they've appointed Martin Denning as executive producer and vice president of Web operations for the company. Denning co-produced and directed Interplay's 'Starfleet Academy' game.

  • Yesterday's UPN repeat of 'Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy' scored a 3.2 rating / 5 share, slightly down from last week's 3.4/5. This placed them at a shared fifth place in timeslot competition, together with a repeat showing of 'Roswell'. Thanks go out to UltimateTV's report for this.

  • David Henderson at Psi Phi has made updates to the Pocket Books publication schedule for both Winter 2000 and all of 2001. A full list of all the changes can be found on Psi Phi's What's New page.

  • And also via Psi Phi comes the news that John Ordover's 'Excelsior' challenge will only be good through the 1st of May 2000, although Ordover adds that "if we're at like 990 on May first, I'll hold the doors open a bit longer."

  • Patrick Stewart - The Actor's Actor is reporting that Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) will be appearing on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee on Monday the 3rd of April, and on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Tuesday the 4th of April.
