Hello World!

Public Announcement: Around Christmas 2001, TrekToday updates will be very sporadic for a while, with overall news quality taking a sharp turn for the worse. At that time, I'll namely have something much better to do with my time - namely play Bethesda Softworks' 'Morrowind' role-playing game, the third RPG in the 'Elder Scrolls' series. Today the company officially announced they're developing the game, which they promise should be "an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine."

They're probably right, too, as 'Daggerfall', the previous game in the series, is still the most immersive computer game I ever played, and 'Redguard', an adventure spin-off in the 'Elder Scrolls' series, which also had a very immersive story. I haven't really played any computer game in nearly a year now (expect 'Redguard' for a few days), but I'm definitely going to check out Morrowind when it is released.

If you're interested in more info, you can find the first screenshots at the official site, or read the Adrenaline Vault's first feature about the game. Can you tell I'm excited?
