Trek Nation Episode Guide Launches

The Trek Nation opened a new Episode Guide section today, giving fans the opportunity to stay informed about all aspects of past and future Enterprise episodes. And using only a few lines of easily insertable code, webmasters will also be able to offer the episode listings on their own site!

The Episode Guide can now be found at www.trektoday.com/episodes/, and will be updated as soon as new information is available on episodes. The Episode Guide main page will always show the full list of known Enterprise episodes, currently starting with 'Broken Bow' and ending with 'Fortunate Son'. On TrekToday and the other sites in the Nation, you will be able to find small Episode Guide boxes at the top-right showing last week's and next week's episode, as well as the three first upcoming new episodes after that.

For each episode, the Guide will contain the following information:

  • The main creative staff and guest cast.
  • Airdate information.
  • Extensive notes on the episode's story and production history, compiled from TrekToday news items.
  • Links to all reviews of the episode.
  • The Trek Nation's own episode reviews, to be written by Michelle Erica Green, and the 'Five-Minute Enterprise' parodies, to be written by Colin 'Zeke' Hayman.
  • The TrekToday poll results for each episode.

Eventually, the Episode Guide will also show which episodes were most liked and disliked by fans, as each episode will be awarded a 'fan rating.' This rating is based on the average rating awarded in the TrekToday polls, and so will provide a good comparison of the various episodes. 'Broken Bow', the Enterprise premiere, was awarded an 8.2 in the poll that closed today - from Thursday on you'll be able to vote for 'Fight or Flight'.

For Star Trek site webmasters, the Episode Guide offers a unique feature in that it allows Enterprise episode listings to be added to other sites. By going to this page, webmasters can choose a variety of listings to show on their site, from just the episode airing next week to a full listing showing the episodes from the previous week, the next week, and from one to four upcoming episodes. In addition, the listings may include links to promos and reviews, and their font size and appearance can be fully customised. Please click here to find out more about how to integrate the Trek Nation episode guide in your own site.

The Trek Nation Episode Guide can now be accessed by following this link - be sure to check back often as new information is added to the database!
