February Sweeps Voyager's Worst Ever

Courtesy of the Star Trek Nielsen Database, both the weekly ratings from the repeat of 'Critical Care' and the overnights for last night's 'Inside Man' are out, with mixed results. Also, thanks to Justin Capone , a February Sweeps Analysis is also online, but the news there isn't particularly good.

According to the report, February sweeps proved to be Voyager's worst sweeps period in its entire run. Every episode during this period managed to fall well below last years mark - Voyager falling close to 11% overall from last years February sweeps.

However, in its third week of repeats this year, Voyager did again managed to post a small gain, the 3.6/ 5 this week for a repeat of 'Inside Man' up .2 from last week's episode, 'Critical Care'. This sees an overall gain of .7 from the first hour of Voyager repeat television, 'Flesh and Blood I', which earned a 3.0/4 (with a 3.3/ 5 overall).

On the weekly front, Voyager started off the second week with another ratings loss, though only small this time. 'Critical Care' lost only .1 from the previous week's telemovie, 'Flesh and Blood' to come in with a 2.3 rating/4 share. This however, is considerably worse than last season's comparable repeat of 'Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy', which managed to not only pull a 2.7/4 but actually rose from the previous week's repeat.

For the complete look at why this year's February sweeps left a lot to be desired, follow this link to Justin's report, while a more complete run-down on the ratings for the two recently aired episodes, look under the overnight ratings for the 'Inside Man' repeat and the 'Critical Care ' repeat weekly ratings at the Star Trek Nielsen Database.
