UPN has premiered the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise's "Kir'Shara", which airs next Friday night.

During this episode, written by Michael Sussman, Archer, T'Pol and T'Pau attempt to make public the existence of the Kir'Shara, an ancient relic that could reveal Surak's path to Vulcans before V'Las can launch an interplanetary war by attacking Andoria. David Livingston returns to direct the episode.

The 20-second promo is available for download online courtesy of StarTrek.com and Sci Fi Universe. For those with slower connections, here's a transcript:

Tucker: "Set a course for Andoria."
[Three ships approach Enterprise in space.]
[Archer and T'Pau look at a Vulcan city in the distance.]
Archer: "I don't suppose they'll let us just walk into the High Command."

THE ONLY THING THAT STANDS BETWEEN WAR AND PEACE

[In a dark corridor, Archer swings a Vulcan weapon with a blazing blade end.]
[In a formal room, Archer makes the "Live Long and Prosper" sign with his fingers.]
[T'Pol kicks a Vulcan.]
[Uniformed Vulcans carrying lirpas are struck by energy bolts.]
[T'Pol and other Vulcans at the High Command are watching something.]
[On Enterprise, Reed speaks to Tucker.]

Tucker: "We're already involved."

BETWEEN VULCAN AND ANDORIA

[Soval is restrained inside a large building.]
[In the chair which holds him immobile, Soval cries out in pain.]
[Shran, along with other Andorians, faces the chair where Soval is trapped.]
Shran: "Where is your fleet?"
Soval: "I'll tear the antennae from your skull!"

IS THE CREW OF ENTERPRISE

[A Vulcan ship joins a fleet of other Vulcan ships.]
[Vulcan and Andorian ships fire upon one another.]
[On Enterprise's bridge, Tucker watches the viewscreen.] Tucker: "Put us between both fleets." Reed: "We're in the crossfire."

THE AMAZING CONCLUSION OF THIS STAR TREK EVENT

[Enterprise flies between ships.]
[A panel explodes near an Enterprise crewmember.]
[Seen on a viewscreen, Shran flinches away from an explosion.]
[On Enterprise's bridge, Tucker ducks his head.]
[Watched by a Vulcan, Archer touches the Kir'Shara, which lights up.]
[V'Las and High Command members stand in a semicircle.]
[Shran shouts at Soval.]
Shran: "It will be a disaster for both our worlds!"
