  • According to Variety, Susanna Thompson (the Borg Queen) will play across from Kevin Costner as his wife in in Universal's upcoming movie 'Dragonfly'.

  • According to the Official Jeri Lynn Ryan site, the actress, who portrays Seven of Nine, has just returned from Toronto, where she had been filing new scenes for the upcoming movie, 'Dracula 2000'. Also, according to the website, she'll be doing interviews/photo shoots for Entertainment Weekly and Us Weekly to promote the film.

  • StarTrek.com has posted an article on the recent "Human Space Exploration: Fact, Fiction, the Future" panel, sponsored by the Planetary Society and the American Astronomical Society, in which Star Trek science consultant Andre Bormanis was a participant.

  • According to the third-quarter financial results of USA Networks, the Sci-Fi Channel increased its revenues by about 40.4% compared to a year earlier.

  • Vanessa Sibbald at Zap2It has posted a fairly positive review of 'Level 9' and 'Freedom', the two new action dramas that UPN premiered, beginning at 8:00pm.

  • However, also according to Zap2It, the two new series did not perform nearly as well as UPN would have hoped. 'Freedom', by Matrix producer Joel Silver, took in a 3.6 rating / 6 share, while 'Level 9', a gadget-driven secret service show, only scored a 3.3/6. Last week, the netlet scored an average of 4.1/7.

  • Shatner.com is reporting that William Shatner (James T. Kirk), together with Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens, will be writing another Trek trilogy.
