Voyager May Sweeps Promo image - courtesy Vidiot, copyright Paramount Pictures With only four episodes and one final sweeps month left, UPN is pulling out all the stops to drum up as much interest in the Voyager finale as possible. Besides launching a new $25,000 Voyager sweepstakes (story), the network also just released the very first footage from the two-hour series finale.

The footage is part of a new 30-second clip promototing Voyager's final episodes, and contains footage of not only 'Endgame' but also episodes such as next week's 'Natural Law.' Courtesy of Mr. Video Productions, a digitised version of the clip is now available online. You can download that below, but here is first a transcript and several images for those with less bandwidth to spare:

BEAM ONBOARD IN MAY FOR THE FINAL FOUR EPISODES OF STAR TREK: VOYAGER

[Text: Beam Onboard]
[The camera pans across the Voyager crew, zooms out.]
[From the opening sequence, Voyager flies by a frozen asteroid.]
[The Holodoc kneeling before Seven on the holodeck, surrounded by several people.]
The Holodoc: "I love you, Seven!"
[Seven looks down at him, incredulously.]

THIS IS THE MONTH YOU'VE WAITED FOR

[Seven of Nine leaves the jungle together with the Ledosian girl she befriends in 'Natural Law.']
[The Girl stretches her arms, showing Seven a beautiful waterfall.]

[The Delta Flyer flies over a planet.]
[Chakotay is assaulted by Janeway, who attempts to press a hypospray in his neck. He grabs her hand.]
[Janeway tries to press down on him.]
[An aged Tuvok scribbles on a piece of paper in a room lit by one single candle.]
[B'Elanna Torres rises from the biobed she's lying on, screaming in pain, and is supported by the Doctor and Paris.]
[The Doctor and Paris place their hands on Torres' now very pregnant belly.]

WILL THEY MAKE IT HOME?

[Voyager flies towards either Earth or an Earth-like planet, following a smaller ship.]
[In Astrometrics, Chakotay, Janeway, Seven and Tuvok turn to look at something.]
[In the Briefing Room, Janeway talks while Kim looks on, holding a coffee cup.]
Janeway: "We're not going to attempt this unless everyone in this room agrees."
[The Delta Flyer tries to outrun another ship (Voyager itself?) that is shooting on it with phasers.]
[Inside the Delta Flyer, Paris, Neelix and Tuvok are rocked as consoles explode.]
[Tuvok holds on tight.]
[In darkened officer's quarters, Seven and Chakotay embrace.]

The actual 30-second clip can be downloaded as a 5.7 MPEG-file at Vidiot, while we of course also have a local mirror available. As usual, please be aware that the clip is copyrighted by Paramount Pictures.
