Besides seeing what countries people come from and what stories they like they read, the statistics program also allows me to see which ISP (or company network) they are using. This, too, contains a few interesting listings, as TrekToday actually gets hits from the following domains:
AOL.com (surprise, surprise!)
Dreamworks.com (an amazing amount of people from there, actually)
Foundation-i.com (the people who create the Voyager visual effects)
Paramount.com (It's funny to see how hits from there have dropped now that 'Voyager' is on hiatus)
Viacom.com (which I'm really hoping aren't their lawyers :-)
I'm sure most reasonably popular sites get hits from many of these domains, but I've always found it really interesting to see where our visitors are coming from. Especially those Paramount.com hits are always nice to see happening - I still remember the enourmous shock I had the first day a user from Paramount.com actually visited the site.
