Section 31 has been updated with a report of the recent FedCon 8 convention in Berlin, written by MaLinda Hill. In the report, she talks about the appearances by many Trek stars, many of which also revealed some interesting tidbits on their personal lifes or careers. Here's a summary:

  • Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) revealed that Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) will be getting married in August 2000, presumably to Wendy Neuss, whom he got to know when she worked as co-producer on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'. Most recently, she served as Executive Producer for Stewart's 'A Christmas Carol' TV film. Trek fans are not invited to the wedding.

  • René Auberjonois (Odo), now that he's finished work on the TV movie 'Gepetto', wants to take a break from filming for a while, and look for roles in the theatre.

  • Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar) is working with her husband on a movie script.

  • Michael Dorn (Worf) said he would be willing to appear in Star Trek X. He also expressed a desire to direct and produce television movies and series, besides just acting in them.

  • Lolita Fatjo, Voyager's script coordinator, said filming for Voyager's seventh season will start at the end of June. She also said she is planning to take a rest after 'Voyager' ends, but she would also enjoy working on the fifth series.

  • Brent Spiner (Data) also said he would be willing to appear in Star Trek X.
