Leonard Nimoy had a mishap while filming Star Trek XI recently, resulting in a minor injury.

As reported by The New York Observer, Nimoy fell on a set while working on Star Trek XI and sustained an injury to his nose.

His injury was discussed by a group of set designers and grips and overheard. "You know the sets are so dark and he's an old guy," said a makeup artist. Nimoy turned seventy-seven today.

A source reported that there had been talk of using a double, but Nimoy was able to go back to work. "Well, you know, with CGI, you know they can fix that nose right up, have it look normal," said a cast member.
