Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) is currently on the Paramount lot directing the penultimate episode of Enterprise's third season.

McNeill began work on the episode, entitled "Countdown", earlier this week, according to StarTrek.com. This will be the director's second episode this season after "Twilight" and his fourth for the series overall.

No plot details are currently known about "Countdown", but it will feature another appearance by the race of Sphere Builders. Actresses Josette DiCarlo (Sphere-Builder Woman), Mary Mara (Sphere-Builder Presage) and Ruth Williamson (Sphere-Builder Primary) shot scenes for both "The Council" and "Countdown" yesterday.

"Countdown", episode 23 of the shortened 24-episode season, will likely air on Wednesday, May 19. The season finale is currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 26.
