J.G. Hertzler (Martok) will soon return to the Trek franchise in an upcoming Enterprise episode.

Hertzler will play the Klingon prosecutor, Orak, in the episode 'Judgment', according to TrekWeb. The actor reportedly let the information slip during a screenwriting course at the University of California.

As previously reported, 'Judgment' is rumoured to be a courtroom drama in which Duras, former commander of the Battle Cruiser Bortas, recounts how he was stripped of his command when he failed to stop a group of rebels fleeing from the Arin'sen colony. Filming was reportedly scheduled to run from January 17 to January 28 under the direction of James L. Conway ('Broken Bow').

Best known to Trek fans for the recurring role of General, and later Chancellor, Martok on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Hertzler also played the Vulcan Captain in 'Emissary' and an Hirogen in Star Trek: Voyager's 'Tsunkatse.' The actor also co-wrote the upcoming novel duology 'The Left Hand of Destiny' about Martok's life as Klingon Chancellor after the end of Deep Space Nine.

'Judgment' will likely air in March, 2003. The original article, which contains some comments from Hertzler on 'The Left Hand of Destiny,' can be found here at TrekWeb.

TrekWeb has updated their earlier report with the news that Hertzler will not be playing Orak, but the character of Kolos. Orak will be portrayed by John Vickery, who appeared as Gul Rusot in three episodes of Deep Space Nine's 'final chapter' and Minbari warlord Neroon on Babylon 5.
