AP Praises UPN's New Shows

"Under Dawn Ostroff, the entertainment president who arrived two years ago...UPN has begun to find itself after a decade roaming in the wilderness," claimed one early review of Star Trek: Enterprise's network's fall season.

Associated Press writer Frazier Moore (via Yahoo!) wrote that UPN's new fall series all looked like quality series, which was something he said he would not claim about the fall lineup on any other network. "Granted, UPN has just three new shows: Second Time Around, Kevin Hill and Veronica Mars," he wrote, adding his concerns that UPN's past choices have included The Mullets and Shasta McNasty.

Moore credited Ostroff with the success of the Monday night comedies and America's Next Top Model and said that Veronica Mars was his favourite new show on any network, calling it "a for-all-ages whodunit."

The writer also credited new series Kevin Hill with generating industry buzz all summer.
