Hello World!

I had my first bad experience with shopping on the internet today. I'm quite disappointed, as I can no longer claim to have had a 100% pleasant experience with buying stuff on the net.

Still, my credit card didn't get abused, or anything too evil like that. The DVD I'd ordered arrived on the doormat this morning, and I opened the packet to find 'Once Upon a Time In China II.' I'd ordered 'A Fistful of Dollars' - a film I love that was on special offer. Hmm.

After checking the company's web site I found I had to ring them up to get 'return authorisation.' So I spent 10 minutes on hold at my expense to get through to someone. The lady on the end of the phone was very nice and apologised. But I still had to trudge to the post office in the rain to send the DVD back via recorded delivery - at my expense.

And after checking their site again this afternoon, the film is out of stock. So I'll have to wait even longer before I get to see it. Needless to say, I shall not be ordering from them again.
