Voyager Christmas Party Photos

On the 16th of December, 2000, Paramount organised a special Christmas party for the cast of 'Star Trek: Voyager'. At the event, live music and entertainment was provided by Neil Norman and his Cosmic Orchestra, well-known for convention appearances and their many SF-themed CDs, published by GNP Crescendo. Courtesy of Neil Norman, below you will find seven unique photos from the party, showing the cast members getting down with the band and just generally having a good time (click on the images for a larger version):

As you can see from the above photos, the Voyager cast is quite friendly with Neil Norman, and some of the cast members even joined him and the Cosmic Orchestra on-stage. Norman has in fact worked with many of them before - the band accompanied Tim Russ (Tuvok) on his recent album, and he composed the score of '9mm of Love', a new film by Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris).

To most fans, however, Norman will be best-known for his series of 'Greatest Science Fiction Hits' CD series, containing his interpretation of SF music from his favourite TV shows and movies, currently already up to Volume IV. He has also served as executive producer on GNP Crescendo's series of soundtrack releases for 'Deep Space Nine', 'Voyager' and the Star Trek movies, as well as those of science fiction franchises such as 'Farscape' and 'Mission: Impossible'.

More information about Neil Norman's work can be found at the official web site of GNP Crescendo, which is at the moment actually running a promotional contest allowing you to win $100 worth of CDs from the company.

Thanks go out to Neil Norman for providing us with these photos!
