Captain Archer and T'Pol will pay a visit to present-day Earth in the November sweeps episode, "Carpenter Street".

StarTrek.com today released the official synopsis of the episode, currently scheduled to air on November 26:

Temporal agent Daniels sends Archer and T'Pol through time to learn what three Xindi-Reptilians are doing in Detroit, Michigan, in 2004.

"Carpenter Street" was written by Enterprise executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, who penned "The Xindi" earlier this season. Regular Star Trek director Mike Vejar, whose episodes include Deep Space Nine's "Rocks and Shoals", Voyager's "Pathfinder" and Enterprise's "Rajiin", helmed the instalment.

The guest cast includes the following actors:

  • Matt Winston as Daniels
  • Leland Orser as Loomis
  • Michael Childers as Strode
  • Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Xindi-Reptilian #1
  • Tom Morga as Xindi-Reptilian #2
  • Erin Cummings as Prostitute #1
  • Donna DuPlantier as Prostitute #2
  • Billy Mayo as Cop #1
  • Dan Warner as Cop #2

This is Matt Winston's fourth appearance as Daniels after "Cold Front", "Shockwave" and "Shockwave, Part II". The actor's other credits include The Core, Six Feet Under and Scrubs.

Leland Orser is also no stranger to Star Trek, having played Gai in DS9's "Sanctuary", Colonel Lovok in "The Die is Cast" and Dejaren in Voyager's "Revulsion". His film roles include parts in The Runaway Jury, Daredevil, Pearl Harbor, Alien: Resurrection and Independence Day.

Michael Childers has guest starred in ER and The X-Files, while Jeffrey Dean Morgan has appeared in JAG, Angel and The Practice. Tom Morga has been performing stunts for the franchise since Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, with his guest acting credits including TNG's "Chain of Command, Part I", "Tapestry", DS9's "The Search, Part II" and "The Sword of Kahless".

Erin Cummings is not included in the Internet Movie Database, where Donna DuPlantier is listed as appearing in the film Brown Sugar. Billy Mayo appeared in Clockstoppers, directed by Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker), and Dan Warner guest starred in CSI: Miami last season.

Principal photography on "Carpenter Street" wrapped on Wednesday, October 22 after a nine-day shoot. Filming took place in a variety of locations, including downtown Los Angeles, Paramount's New York Streets backlot, exterior sets at the Lacy Street Production Center and regular NX-01 locales back on the Enterprise soundstages.

This Wednesday also saw the start of filming on the twelfth episode of the season, entitled "Chosen Realm". Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), who directed last week's "Exile", returned to helm the episode.

The complete production report is available here at StarTrek.com.
