When the fourth season of Star Trek: Voyager hits the shelves on September 28th, fans can expect more character spotlight features as well as ones about the aliens of Voyager.

TVShowsonDVD recently released a breakdown of the extas and specs for the Voyager Season Four DVD set. Like the three previous Voyager DVD sets, the episodes will be presented in full screen format in Dolby Digital 5.1 with Dolby Surround sound. The seven disc set features 26 episodes and clocks in at 19 hours and 53 minutes total running time.

Harry Kim (Garrett Wang) and Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) get their chance in the spotlight on the fourth season set, with each character being the focus of a "Voyager Time Capsule." The Time Capsules will feature interviews with actors and creators from the show. It is not yet known whether Wang and Ryan recorded new, recent interviews for the Time Capsules.

As with the past seasons, there will be a "Braving the Unknown" featurette focusing on this set's season, presumably with interviews with the writers and producers. "The Birth of Species 8472" will focus on the creation and development of the aliens Voyager introduced, and "The Art of Alien Worlds" will detail the work of the artists who created the backdrop of the planets Voyager encountered. A photo gallery and a promotional trailer round out the set. Presumably, as with past Trek DVD sets, the season four set will feature Easter Eggs containing brief interviews and spotlights on episodes and characters.
