  • Cinescape is reporting that Gerard Butler has agreed to take on the title role in the upcoming "Wes Craven Presents: Dracula 2000', rounding out a cast also including Christopher Plummer (General Chang) and Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine).

  • Gustavo Leao sends along word that 'Preserver', the new Star Trek novel by William Shatner (James T. Kirk) arrived in bookstores in the US today. A synopsis of the novel can be found here on Amazon.

  • Frasier's Kelsey Grammer, who appeared in TNG's 'Cause and Effect' as Captain Morgan Bateson, is among 23 stars to get their own Hollywood Walk of Fame star next year, according to this AP article. Thanks go out to Jeff 'Koganuts' Koga for this!

  • The syndicated 'National Enquirer TV' show is apparently reporting that the limousine of Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) broke down in the middle of New York traffic. With everyone honking their horn, Stewart stunned his driver by jumping out of the limo and single-handedly pushing the limo back to the curb. Thanks go out to BORG for this!
