  • According to a press release from IBM, it launched a new $150 million ad campaign for its e-commerce solutions during this Monday's broadcast of 'Ally McBeal'. The TV spots feature Avery Brooks (Benjamin Sisko) delivering "thought-provoking observations about how the world is changing, and why success requires serious, powerful, and different software -- IBM software".

  • SevTrek's John Cook has announced he will not be coming to the Utopia 2000 convention, which will be held in the Netherlands this October. However, he has made tentative plans to come to the 2001 edition of the con.

  • Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) will be appearing on 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien' tonight, to promote the 'Voyager' season finale.
