UPN has premiered the trailer for the second part pf Star Trek: Enterprise's "In a Mirror, Darkly", which airs next Friday night.

In this episode, directed by Marvin V. Rush from a script by Michael Sussman, Archer takes over the 23rd-century Defiant from the Tholians in an attempt to sieze power.

The 30-second promo is available for download online courtesy of StarTrek.com and Sci Fi Universe. For those with slower connections, here's a transcript:

[Defiant chases and fires upon another starship, leaving an explosion behind.]

[T'Pol, in a blue Defiant uniform, looks displeased.]
[Mayweather, in a red shirt, sits at a console on Defiant's bridge.]
[Defiant moves through space beside and NX-class starship.]
[Reed, in a red shirt, stands by a schematic of a Constellation-class ship on a large viewscreen.]
[Sato approaches Archer in the captain's quarters.]
Sato: "What are you wearing?"
[Archer shows off his green wraparound crew uniform and boots.]
[Text: 'ALL NEW! STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE NEXT FRIDAY 8/7c 4 EPISODES LEFT UPN']

WHAT WILL THEY DO WITH POWER BEYOND THEIR IMAGINATION?

[A crewmember in a Defiant uniform approaches and fires a phaser, disintegrating an admiral.]
[An NX-class ship explodes.]
[Crewmembers in biosuits enter the darkened Defiant bridge.]
[Reed and Archer sit at the navigation and weapons stations on the Defiant.]
[In an NX-01 uniform, Archer speaks emphatically.]
Archer: "The technology we could find on that ship, ours for the taking!"

AND THEY CAN IMAGINE A LOT.

[Defiant flies out of her Tholian spacedock in the moon of a gas giant as weapons are fired at it.]
[Sato stands on Defiant's bridge in an NX-01 uniform.]
Sato: "We'll begin targeting their cities."
[Archer lies shirtless on a bed and tilts a glass of champagne over his head.]
Archer: "Emperor Jonathan Archer!"
[Archer pours the champagne into his mouth.]
