DS9 Alumni To Appear In Sweeps Shows

A pair of Deep Space Nine regulars will make appearances this week on other television shows.

Louise Fletcher, who played Bajoran religious leader Kai Winn, will portray a nurse with a dreadful bedside manner in "Oscar Interruptus" on ABC's It's All Relative, Wednesday, February 25th at 8:30 p.m.

The official site summary suggests ironic connections with Fletcher's Academy Award-winning role as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, stating, "Philip's plans to view the Oscars are spoiled when Mace accidentally breaks the remote control. Their desperate attempt to get the remote fixed lands them in the emergency room with a nurse (Louise Fletcher) who certainly wouldn't win any awards for her bedside manner."

Paul Dooley, who played senior Cardassian espionage agent Enabran Tain, will appear CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's episode "Getting Off" this Thursday night on CBS.

He plays a theatrical agent named Buddy, who books a lot of clowns and may have information about a dead actor who performed on the side fulfilling the fantasies of women who wanted to have sex with clowns.

Debra Wilson, who also appears in this episode, performed the voice of Captain Lisa Cusak in Deep Space Nine's "The Sound of Her Voice".

Thanks to The Louise Fletcher Appreciation Page for the information about Fletcher's appearance and to CSI Files for the summary of Dooley's episode.
