U.K. Star Trek fans with extra holiday cash can buy select collectibles in special Ebay auctions and help suffering donkeys at the same time.

Over thirty Star Trek items are being auctioned off to raise money for the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary. This U.K. charity cares for and protects donkeys that have been abused or ill-treated.

The collectibles include: mugs from The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, a toy tricorder, phaser, and communicator, assorted collector card sets from several Star Trek series, action figures, rare badges and pins, a comic, Voyager talking alarm clock with the voice of Captain Janeway, Star Trek: The Next Generation customizable card game, snow globes and a Star Trek Micro Machines set.

These auctions are for U.K. residents. Offers from overseas will be decided on a case-by-case basis due to shipping costs. These auctions will end soon, so don't miss the chance to obtain a new item for your collection, and to help a worthy charity. All of the proceeds go to the charity.

To see the items, head to the auction located here.
