Box sets of the complete runs of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, as well as release dates for the original series and Voyager, are in the news at DVD web sites.

TV Shows on DVD and The Digital Bits have reported that their retail sources now have release dates for the original series season DVD box sets. The first season, as previously reported, will be released on August 31st, with the second season to follow on November 2nd and the third on December 7th. The complete series will also be available in a single package in December.

Release dates for the remaining Voyager sets are now available as well, showing a delay of almost two months for the fourth season package. As Paramount is currently telling retailers, the third season will be released on July 6th, the fourth season on September 28th, the fifth season on November 2nd, the sixth season on December 7th, and the final season on September 21st, when the complete series will be released as a set as well.

The Digital Bits has stated as well that Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Complete Series and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Complete Series will be released on October 26th, including all seven seasons of each show put together in a single set. No price for the complete series packages have been announced.
