UPN has premiered the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise's "The Forgotten", which airs next Wednesday night.

During this episode, written by Chris Black and David A. Goodman, two Xindi officials promise that they will stop the launch of their superweapon, but only if Archer can prove they've been manipulated into attacking Earth. LeVar Burton (Geordi LaForge) returns to direct this installment.

The 20-second promo is available for download online courtesy of StarTrek.com and The Daily Trekker. For those with slower connections, here's a transcript:

ON 'STAR TREK ENTERPRISE' ONLY FIVE NEW EPISODES ARE LEFT...

[Xindi ships fire at Enterprise as it moves through space.]
[Text: '5 EPISODES LEFT']

...LEADING TO THE MIND-WARPING SEASON FINALE...

[A large group of crewmembers including Phlox and Mayweather stand in a cargo bay looking at something overhead.]
[T'Pol stares at someone approaching her.]
[A much older T'Pol is speaking to a crewmember.]

...WHERE PAST, PRESENT AND ETERNITY UNRAVEL.

[As red and blue energy bolts are fired at the ship, a very damaged Enterprise appears to split into two ships which fly in opposite directions.]

WEDNESDAY, THEIR ONLY HOPE LIES IN THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY.

[Text: 'WEDNESDAY']
[Xindi-Reptilians lie on medical cots as Degra and a Xindi-Sloth regard them.]
[Archer turns away from a schematic.]
[Degra speaks aboard Enterprise's bridge with T'Pol listening behind him.]
Degra: "You're asking me to attack my own people!"
[Reed, outside the ship in a biosuit, is hit by a blast from an energy current.]
