UPN Wednesday night released the trailer for next week's Enterprise episode, entitled 'Acquisition.'

In the episode, the Enterprise is taken over by a group of Ferengi pirates seeking profit. With the crew knocked out by a noxious gas, it's up to Commander Tucker to save the ship from the big-lobed scoundrels. 'Acquisition'features guest appearances by Voyager's Ethan Phillips (Neelix) and Jeffrey Combs (Weyoun, Shran).

A digitised version of the promo is available online courtesy of MediaTrek. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

OF ALL THE SPECIES ENTERPRISE HAS COME ACROSS

[Archer stands on the bridge.]
[The aliens from 'Silent Enemy' crouching over two crew members.]
[Rock figures from 'Strange New World' rise up behind T'Pol.]
[Archer clings onto a handlebar in pain.]
Archer: "Who the hell are you?"

NOTHING COULD PREPARE THEM FOR THIS

[Enterprise seen through a viewscreen as a large bulbous Ferengi head looms into view.]
[Krem leers at T'Pol.]
Krem: "Stroke my lobes."
[T'Pol arches her eyebrow.]
[Muk titters in the background.]

AN ALL-NEW 'ENTERPRISE'

[T'Pol runs her fingers over Krem's lobes as he shivers in ecstasy.]
[Grish tries to communicate with Porthos as Muk looks on.]
Grish: "Do you understand me?"
[Porthos wags his tail and barks.]
[Grish turns to Muk.]
Grish: "I can't lock onto its language."
