Hello World!

After my request a few days ago about sites providing reviews of televisions and other such electronics equipment, several people wrote in with some very useful recommendations:

  • Chris Butler recommended the customer reviews at Amazon.
  • Matthias Schmidt wrote in about dooyoo.de, which is in German, but therefore also very useful for Europeans like myself.
  • For a more professional look at electronics equipment, Joe Coeshaw sent me a link to Home Cinema Choice, the web site of a UK magazine.
  • Shaun Aki recommended Price Watch, but they seem to be mostly focused on Americans.
  • Todd Felton sent a mail about Epinions.com, which does indeed seem to be very good.
  • And finally Daren Hubbard recommended Audio Reviews, contrary to what the title would seem to suggest also containing reviews of visual equipment.
