'Nemesis' DVD Details Released

Paramount Home Entertainment has released further details on the 'Star Trek: Nemesis' DVD release.

Allowing fans to view removed footage, the DVD will contain seven deleted scenes according to StarTrek.com. It will also contain a commentary by director Stuart Baird, photo gallery and four new featurettes:

  • New Frontiers: Stuart Baird on Directing Nemesis
  • A Bold Vision of the Final Frontier
  • A Star Trek Family's Final Journey
  • Red Alert! Shooting the Action of Nemesis
According to the report, the region one release will come in widescreen and pan-and-scan versions and will offer 5.1 Dolby Digital and Pro-Logic English soundtracks, and a Pro-Logic French soundtrack. There will also be a VHS version of the film available.

Although these details are applicable for the R1 release, other regional releases should be the same or similar.

The DVD is currently available to order from Amazon.de in Germany. Other Amazons should offer pre-ordering in the near future.
